Fuchsia Cottage - Fortrose Harbour

Fuchsia Cottage is situated with a southerly aspect next to the beach and the Thomas Telford harbour in Fortrose, overlooking the slipway now used by the local sailing club. The cottage is built in the traditional Scottish style (c1800) of stone and is subject to conservation regulations together with the adjoining gable end walls of the original ‘Smithy’ which now forms the rear garden. Private off road parking is included.

There are two bedrooms, one double and one twin also at no extra cost a ‘Z’ bed suitable for a younger child also cot & high chair. Bed linen & duvets are provided on all beds together with mattress, pillows & duvet protectors.

Electric storage & Rionte full control radiators provide both heat and hot water. The kitchen is equipped, with electric oven together with a separate hob. A washing machine, fridge, Microwave, Toaster, Slow Cooker, Cafetiere are also provided.

There are two downstairs rooms. A television provides entertainment during the quieter hours. Wifi facilities are also available free of charge. The bathroom contains a w.c. hand basin, bath with overhead electric shower.

The booking period is from 4.00pm on the Saturday of arrival until 10.30am on the Saturday of departure. A deposit of 20% per week is payable on booking with the balance due six weeks before arrival. There are no extra charges with electricity included. We regret that pets are not allowed & smoking inside the cottage is discouraged.
